The future of Kickback

Valve posted on Wednesday that they have began shutting down CS:GO skin gambling websites.

Kickback is not affected by this update. This is because Kickback is skill-based, and is not considered gambling.

We’re just getting started and will be around for a long time to come.

Players require skill to win games on Kickback. Using our service is not against Valve’s terms or the laws set by the United States. Feel free to read more about why it’s legal here.

Over the next month we’ll be rolling out new major features and fixes, including:

  • 15+ new server locations including locations in Australia, Asia, Russia, South America and all over Europe.
  • Direct player versus player challenges. Play against anyone on the site for anywhere from $0.01 up to $10,000.
  • Store updates: items starting from $0.50 making it easy for anyone to win skins playing Kickback.
  • More matchmaking settings to let you choose what maps, weapons and opponent pings you play with.
  • Matchmaking and anti-cheat improvements

Thanks for all of your support. We’re super excited to show you what our team has been working on over the past few months.
